Architect about Altum: The project has a typical urban context with the surrounding environment

The portfolio of projects owned by 365.invest, which forms part of the FKI Equity fund for institutional clients, has been complemented by the Altum multifunctional project in Devínská Nová Ves. The apartment buildings are located in Pod Srdcom near the forest in the very center of Devínská Nová Ves. The project will offer classic as well as duplex apartments with beautiful terraces overlooking the forest.

 

Project architect is the leading practioner Ľubomír Závodný. The project's upper part has a green roof, which corresponds to the artistic plan of the Altum project visionary. He generally avoids traditional saddle roofs and simple surfaces, giving preference to fragmentation, lifting, and removal from consoles. He also pays attention to the details that combine to form a perfectly functioning unity of components. His work, including the Altum project, has elements of a functionalist style with strong geometry, long, simple, and flat surfaces, and a postmodern outlook. This approach enables the Altum project to be immersed with the town, establish a relationship with the environment, and through simplicity to soften the character of the surroundings.

Fusion with nature

"The Altum project in Devínská Nová Ves has an ideal position in terms of accessibility to amenities, and especially in relation to the natural environment. Glavica hill, undeveloped gardens, and Devínska koliba are all nearby," says Ľubomír Závodný about the character of the project. He highlights several basic cognitive elements that characterize this project: "A pragmatic and simple concept, urban context with the surrounding environment, architectural and material quality, and especially the spatial concept of outdoor areas and living spaces themselves."

According to the architect, the advantage of more distant locations than in the case of the site where the Altum project is growing is precisely the advantage of contact with natural green areas. The green roof on two houses of the complex build on this concept. "The green roof is important here in terms of thermal technology and the quality of the indoor environment under the roof and also as a positive visual element for views from the surrounding higher-rise apartment buildings" explains the architect.

The residential project is located in the developing south-eastern part of Devínska Nová Ves, opposite Glavica shopping centre, near a recreational area consisting of cottages with gardens. The two five-floor apartment buildings have 35 apartments and 56 parking spaces, of which 17 are underground. The project offers two- to five-room apartments, with those on the highest floors designed as maisonettes, while first floor homeowners have access to front gardens.

 

Construction of the project by the development company BS real estate as began in the autumn of 2021. Estimated completion date is January 2024.
